Hilary and I would like to thank you for all of your hard work and help with the sale of our condo and purchase of our new home. We both agree that your knowledge of the Chicago condominium market and sales expertise greatly influenced how quickly our unit sold. As you remember, March 2010 was a tricky time to be selling a condo unit in this economic and real estate environment, yet we feel, all things considered, that we got an incredible return and we owe a great deal of this to your insight and efforts. Selling was a difficult transition, but you worked well to keep us focused on it being just one part of the whole plan, which was to help us find a home.
As we looked at houses to purchase, you once again showed your knowledge of the neighborhoods we were interested in as you focused us in on what we could afford and where we would be “at home”. While Hilary and I often didn’t agree with each other as we searched, you were able to keep us moving forward and learning every weekend as we continued our hunt for a home.
When looking back at the entire process, we know realize that your job not only entails understanding market conditions and comparables etc., but also being able to listen to two people who are trying to reconcile, as a couple, there own desires and needs, often quite contradictory. This may be the more difficult aspect for the agent. You were quite adept at listening and counseling us, individually and as a couple, to explain our situation within the context of the real estate market in our chosen neighborhoods, in a positive way.
Once we found our “home” you continued to work with us through all of the remaining obstacles: negotiations, inspections, mortgage applications, all of which were extremely frustrating and unnerving for us but tempered by your calm and professionalism.
The bottom line is we thank you for everything you did for us and we have and we will recommend you to our friends and family as a knowledgeable, professional and hard working real estate agent! Thanks again!!

Ramona helped me sell my brother's condo after he died suddenly last spring. I did not live in Chicago, had never lived in Chicago. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, not too close by. Ramona was recommended by a condo neighbor who had recently sold a unit with her. She was so positive and enthusiastic with our first phone conversation that I was fairly sure I would go with her as my agent. When I met her in person she was six months pregnant. I wondered how she could sell my property and have a baby, but she assured me she could do it. And she did.
She was honest about the pros and cons of the unit and the uncertainty of the market. She helped me establish a price and later gave me sound advice about negotiating the final sale price. She helped me find someone to do an estate sale. She helped me, long distance, with whatever issues arose, with kindness and attention to detail.
Ramona said she would work hard for me and she did. It was winter 2010/2011, a hard time to sell real estate, but I felt like my property was always on her agenda, always being marketed.
For me one of Ramona's particular strengths was that she communicated with me frequently. Not all agents do that. Especially because I was selling the condo from 800 miles away, good communication was important to me.
So I highly recommend Ramona to sell your property. She'll work hard, do her best and that will certainly do the job.

My husband and I interviewed several Real Estate agents in the Fall of 2007 when we decided to start looking seriously for our first home. We chose Ramona because she was easy to work with and listened carefully to what we wanted. Many of the agents we'd come across in Open Houses were very pushy and we really disliked the idea of dealing with an overly aggressive person as first time home buyers. Ramona very patiently helped us through the process and showed us many properties as we changed and expanded our search criteria. When it seemed like we'd never find something, she assured us that there would be a great place we both loved and we just had to keep looking until we found it. In the end we purchased a condo we love. Although Ramona was not pushy with us, she did prove to drive a hard bargain when it came time to put in an offer and negotiate with the other side. We are very glad to have worked with Ramona, and are very happy in our new home.

Having recently purchased our first home with one of your agents, I feel compelled to write to you and describe what a comforting pleasure it was to work with Ramona DeMille.
